GIS Youth Boot Camp

ContractGIS believes in bringing GIS into the community.  We have developed a 5 day long GIS Boot Camp for elementary through high school aged students, designed to get young people excited about mapping, geography and the world around them.

The 5 day program can be scaled to 10 half days or compacted into a weekend.

It's a perfect way to engage young minds and get them excited about geography and technology.

If you have a group that would like to benefit from this type of curriculum, please contact us so that we can get this going.  It's a fun way for young people to spend school breaks.

Some ideas for the groups that we want to work with are local 4H clubs, Boy and Girl Scouts, summer day camps or Boys and Girls clubs.

Costs for these programs are pro-rated based on demographics and not-for-profit status of your group.  In some cases, the only cost may be our travel to you because we are that excited about GIS!

Who knows - maybe you'll be giving a child a jump start on a lucrative career!

Teacher Helping Student

College Research, and GIS Tutoring

We also love to help people visualize their research data.  If you have been working on a thesis or advanced course of study, we can help by taking any data that has a geographic component, and create an aesthetic presentation of that data and your ideas.

Our costs for students is greatly reduced, just show us your college ID.

We won't do GIS coursework for you, but if you have a topic of study in a field that uses GIS but you aren't familiar with the use of the software, we can help!

For those of you who are currently enrolled in a GIS course, we can provide private web-based tutoring.
